    Map Watercolor continent

    Hi! First time poster here.

I began drawing this map as a reference for myself, for a story I'm writing, then I found this place, got inspired, and put some detail and color on it. And since it was you people who made me turn it into more than some rough lines and dots, I figured I should show it to you

It's in A4 size, made with pencil, ink and watercolors, and labels added digitally.

Being hand-drawn there is not much I can do to change it, but criticism is still welcome! I'll use it in my next map, 'cause this was fun

    Thanks for looking!

I like that map a lot.

No critique from me, just a request for you to go make more. And welcome to the guild.

That's very nice. I love the soft colors you used too. Like Ramah, I look forward to seeing your next one.

Looks like it was well worth the extra effort! I don't have any real criticisms except perhaps narrowing the width of the rivers slightly. Maybe working on an A3 sized map would make that easier (plus bigger is always good).

Welcome to the Guild Lingon, and thanks for sharing. That is a lovely map. I particularly like the mountains. Have some rep.

Welcome, and thank you for immediate contribution - DELIGHTFUL contribution. I do believe you have that figured out, and I too look forward to more. Greedy, aren't we? What can I say - we have good taste, and that's a tasty map .

Wow, I didn't expect that to be honest! Thanks everyone, your comments make me really happy! I'll use A3 next time, as suggested. Again, many thanks!

That is a beautiful map Lingon! I especially like the way you've drawn mountains and skillfully applied watercolours. I love the colour palette you've chosen. It works really well on this map.

Just like others before me I hope to see more from you in the near future.
