On this page, you can find links to coats of arms of every european country. Most of them have a history of those coats. For example, France.
(je n'ai pas vérifié pour tous les pays d'autant que les noms mêmes des états ont changé depuis le XVIIe...)
Thanks for the link though it doesn't really work because names and borders of the actual countries are quite different from the 17th century kingdoms, so are some of the coats of arms. btw thanks again for the reply.
Republic of the united Netherlands (1665 ?)
Swiss Confederation (created in 1291 with no border changes since then, I think)
Holy Roman Empire that existed until 1806
Commonwealth of England (17th century)
Ireland
Scotland created in 17th century and still used
Wales or anyway Llewelyn that inspired the actual Welsh coat of arms
Kingdom of France from 1515 'til 1792 (the borders changed almost every year but I guess coat of arms did not follow that way)
Spain until 1761
Spain from 1761
Kingdom of Portugal since 1640
Sweden
Denmark-Norway
Venice
Andorra
Monaco
Principalities of Italy (each one had its coat of arms, of course)
I don't know if I forgot some country... states like Belgium, Luxemburg or others did not exist at that century. There were also maaaaaannnnyyyy small entities...
I looked at it closely after my last post and managed to find all that I need (Russian Empire and Kingdom odf Portugal were missing but I found them elesewhere). But really, thank you for the effort Mornagest, I really appreciate it.
No problem, it was the occasion for me to remember some details about european states at this period, too
