Map A battlemap done in ... powerpoint :)

    Hi Guild

I set myself the task to create a battlemap by using gimp solely for basic operations (such as cutting down / resizing images is ok, altering images e.g. with filters and stuff is not) and by using powerpoint to design and lay out the tactical elements: walls, stairs, a grid, rivers and stuff ..

The map is called "Unsteady Harmony", inspired by "False Peace" – a map by conflictbooks.com
All textures used are stockfiles from different sources.
Decorations have been created by Bogie @ Cartographer‘s Guild
Icons in the corners are taken from game-icons.net
    Houses' emblems are from 123rf.com

You can find the map here at my google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4N...it?usp=sharing

If you've got any comments to share: please do!
This is my first battlemat ever, so any kind of criticism is highly welcomed!

    Many thanks and kind regards,
    Kai

Hey, how about that! I was the designer for the original ConflictRPG map "False Peace." Glad it inspired!
