How do I convert a CC3 map into a file I can upload here?

I have several maps I created in CC3 that I would like to upload to the site. When I try to load the Map files I am having no luck. Is there a way to convert the files to a jpeg or do I need to print, scan and save?

Update: I figured out how to save the maps as JPEG files but I still cannot upload to the site. The little hourglass (ok, on this site it is a little worm shaped out of 4 circles) is spinning like crazy for 20 minutes but the file would not upload. Not sure where I went wrong. Is JPEG an appropriate file type for upload to this site?

JPG is a good upload format, but your file might be too big. The CG accepts files up to 4.x MB in size. I've forgotten what comes after the decimal point. You might have to load your JPG file from CC3 into a graphical program with which you can reduce the size.

I've had serious problems using Internet Explorer to upload files since one of the last major site upgrades. I usually end up using FireFox or Chrome when I want to upload images.

Yeah, I think it might be a browser issue. Only thing that's worked for me in uploading files here since... forever, is Firefox.

I cant upload any images to this site either for about a year now. Im on firefox too as well.

To convert a CC3 map to a viable format do the following:

1. Open TOOLS > OPTIONS and select the BMP, JPEG, PNG button.

From there, change the default values to something a little larger (I tend to go with 1600 width, by 1200 height). Ensure PNG is set to MAXIMUM and JPEG is 100%

2. zoom out your ENTIRE map so it is all visible in the draw window.

3. Select FILE > SAVE AS and in the DROP DOWN box select either RECTANGULAR PORTION JPEG or PNG and then click SAVE

You will then have a selectable bounding box to set first corner and once clicked, you select the opposite corner (just like drawing a BOX POLYGON).

and VIOLA! You have saved CC3 map as a PNG/JPEG or even if you wish a BMP
