Default June 2014 Entry: The Hills of Wind and Winter

I had a go at some different stuff - don't get too excited, though, because I'm in the "trialling" phase right now. If you like something or think it needs improvement, you're very welcome to comment.

I like the limited colour set you're using, it makes me think that someone sat down and drew it with quills and a couple of ink bottles. The river and trees might be a tad dark, especially the trees, they sort of turn into a solid mass when the map isn't zoomed right in.

    cheers,

Yep, I'm liking this map. It feels cold and windy, even without the title...

    cheers,

I like the chilly colors, especially the blue in the water. Maybe some sort of snowy texture using some subtle blues to add details around the transition areas?

Keep going? You probably don't need to do a whole lot more to call this finished. Hope you get it done!

    cheers,
    Meshon
