    Default Thersis northern Sea

This is the northern sea of my new Terra (Thersis) I have been working on in the last weeks ...

Its a geographical textured map done using real sources textures hand painted in.
The idea was to make a kind of google earth like image , the biomes I used are desert, sandy desert, dry mountains, steppes, savannahs, mediterranean , continental grassland, alpine ground , boreal forest and snow .

My hope was to make it as realistic as possible .

    Any Comment is very welcome

Google Earth effect achieved, I'd say...looks really nice. I think the edges have a bit more glow to them than I care for, but everything else looks great.

This is impressive! There's definitely the Google Earth feel to it.
...I still find the edges a little too bright, but hey! Nice map so far!

There's tons of great things going on in here, but the glow around the land is distracting. It's very bright and looks more like a filter than shallow waters. Try playing around with it.

I think it's definitely an improvement...there's some areas that still feel like they're a little intense, but it seems more subtle now for sure.

The land is very impressive! The sea looks a little bit too "grainy" to me.

Thankyou , yes , I don't like the sea either, the fact is that I can't find a way to see how sea from top looks like , for some reason I can't see just sea in google earth and it always shows the under surface ... Any idea onhow to fix that?
