Welcome, Brandon! Like Chick said - if what you need is a full-up map, the Requests forum and a bunch of specifications will garner more interest. But if what you want is collaborative input, and you're willing to do it in the open (by far the best choice - again for maximum interest) then start a Work-In-Progress thread in whatever forum looks appropriate, and show us what you have to start with. The back and forth of "how do I...?" and "try something like..." can accelerate your cartographic chops hugely.

We LOVE world development. And apropos to your publisher ( "Permuted Press is an indie horror publisher specializing in apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic tales" ) it's also fun tearing a world up creatively :-).
