My name is Laura and I'm from germany. I'm part of a small group of people, creating our own fantasy world. We call ourselfe "Team Elcio" because of the protagonist named Elcio.
Since nearly 3 years we are writing, drawing and thinking a lot about our project and things have come to a pretty pass. Now we are planning to write a book about our progress. Without a real storyline, just like a "world book" to explain all the things we came up with, all the nations, the charakters, the whole creation of the world named "Divoisia" after the God Divoisos who created it.
At the moment we try to wirte down which nation lived where and when who fought against whom. To illustrate all these things we tried to draw maps and our progress is pretty nice. But we would like to have some breathtaking maps for our book. And maybe here is someone who wants to give it a try?
If you have some questions, just aks. I will try to give you some answers, even if its hard for me to put our thoughts into english language.. At this point I guess I have to say sorry if there is any great mistake in this post..
We just write in german but if you are interested I can try to translate.

Your project sounds like it is a fun one, and I am often reminded that I have to be missing out on some true gems that are written in languages other than my own.

There is a forum thread called Mapmaking Requests, where you can post all your map information and a contact email address. There is where you will get people interested in helping you.
