    Map Whiteheaven

    Hi friends,

My second detailed map called Whiteheaven. I know, it's not very cool, but I love it. Actually, I do not know what will happen in future with these maps. But I want to learn this work in depth. Maybe one day I can use them to create fantasy realms.

    What you think?

A nice start to your mapmaking career, eldritchdawn. Yes, it can be improved, but I suspect you will be doing fantastic maps quickly enough if you keep at it! Check out the Monthly Lite Challenge thread for some opportunities to play around with different styles and methods.

    Hi,

Thank you very much. I'll consider that advice.

I like this but I think the icon for the castle would look better smaller (perhaps remove those two flanking towers beside it) as I think it takes up too much space. It would make it look more distinct from the two nearby towns.

    Hi,

First of all, thanks for you comment. Yes, you're right, it takes too much space on the map. And I guess, I will change cities and castle place. Maybe, Northbury may further north. Because, there is river. People needs fresh water. And the south city, Krossten, I can change this city location with castle.
