A friend with whom I am doing NaNoWriMo suggested this place when I was whining about not having a map. I posted my request in the request forum, but now I am thinking if no one makes me one maybe I can learn to make one. Can you make maps if you can't even draw stick people? I cannot so far!

Uh. Well. I'm a writer. I write horror short stories, and am trying my hand at my first novel. I saw a lot of these maps and they are gorgeous, so now I am just looking around!

Okay, that's all... I'm not too terribly interesting.

Hey TK. Yes, I think you could take a stab at it. Some methods of map making are less hand drawing oriented.
There's still a learning curve but it's doable.
I will send you an email Sunday regarding that map request.
You can check my work and see if anything interests you.

Your maps are beautiful! All these maps are beautiful lol. After I looked and saw how much goes into it I almost died!

I especially like your map Bourmout! It looks very much like I imagine a sleepy stuck-in-time sort of town. It looks like a lot of the houses are connected; is it a sort of manor house/castle thing?

it depends on what you need

a AAA map in your glove compartment
or
a map that is also a piece of Fine Art
