    Post Start of a glorious

    Hello Everyone,

since I am writing this thread you all guesed it: I am new to this forum.
I would like to start with how much I love all the amazing maps you created so far and that I am planning to join the ranks as a completely freshman to mapping. Recently I bought CC3+CD3+DD3 and Photoshop and here I am starting with my own universe. Since I really hate to buy and read lots of books (30€/book) and still missing out on lots of information on these settings I thought about creating my own campaign setting for D&D. For a start I am working on my world map (The misty realms). But during the next weeks/months I would like to go on with my setting. So the timeline should look something like this:

    1. Finish World Map (CC3 + Photoshop)
    2. Choose to regions and draw them in detail. (CC3 + Photoshop)
    3. Pick a few towns and cities in these regions (CD3 + Photoshop)
    4. Write some history to these places with various details
    5. Start first campaign and redo process 2-5 as often as necessary.

I know these goals are pretty ambitious but I am very positive that this works just fine. Since I didn't find lots of really helpful tutorials on how to use CC3 I also wrote a Tutorial on all the features I used so far. This is somewhat like a step to step tutorial on "The misty realms".

    So again,
    Hello everyone and happy mapping

Sry, I missed out on finishing the title and I don't know how to correct this. It should be called "Start of a glorious mapping career"

Hi Malmo3000, welcome to the Guild! I'll look forward to seeing these maps as you get to work on them
