Default The world of Gondril - commission

This is a map I made a while back for the writer Damon Courtney (http://damonjcourtney.com/) and his world Gondril. The map is made in both CC3 and Photoshop.
So far there are three books to read for those interested.
    Hope you like it.

Love the gritty style to this map! Great Job!

Wish I could give you some Rep.

It strikes me this map is very spiky.
    What font is that?

    Sorry, I can't rep right now :c

I dig the style a lot! Very nice job. One thing I'd mention though is that the font, while very whimsical and fun, is a bit difficult to read in places.

Nice map, attractive style, nice for something being published, doesn't look like the same old, same old

    Thanks for all the comments.
I don't remember the name of the font, have to look it up. And I can agree that the font is hard to read in places, but in full resolution everything is much clearer, and I like the font

A nice, clear, style. I like it. In combination with the pallet it gives a very "grim" feeling. Would have loved a title though.

Did you make the frame yourself? It's stunning.

Thanks Tainotim, glad you like it. The frame is borrowed from an old map, I think from the 18th century. I modified it a bit so it fitted the map, but not much.

Original and very well done. I like the ambient too. Some labels are a bit hard to read in my humble opinion, though.
