    Default Hinterwalden Sketch

Sketched this one out, maybe I'll make a larger version with some marginalia and better details on shield etc.

I like it. There are a lot of services in the town. What is the town's background?

It's a new place for my DnD group. I don't have a super thorough history, but there are a few details that are fun:

    1) Sunn's Moon Forge: named after gf's cousin (Sunn) who is a welder. He is working on a way to integrate the power of the Sun to the more traditional elvish use of the Moon's energy into metals. I'm thinking maybe eventually some solar eclipse armor that looks black with a bright nimbus.

    2) The East half is mostly woods. Pigs roam free in the city and are highly respected.

    3) The "Rubbery" is a place to get a nice elvish massage!

    4) There is a merchant trying to sell the first wrist watches, but is having a hard time b/c everyone can see the clocktower and don't get the point.

    5) The Ancient Temple/Monastarey long predates the city. It is a place to seek knowledge. Made of unusual construction, probably magical, for it looks seems to be a single solid piece.

    That's is so far Larb

Also, the town is located on this map (which is still in progress) :

I have several other regional maps to go along with the setting in my albums, but all are WIPs at this point.
