Hey, I'm relatively new here, but I made some maps for the Dark Heresy campaign I'm currently running. These are some battle/inter-active maps I made using Campaign Cartographer (surprisingly, without the Dungeon Designer 3 add-on). The top one is an entrance to a secret bunker, and the bottom one is the bunker itself. The setting is post-apocalyptic, in the Warhammer universe. The base is home to a law-keeping faction in the wasteland.

This is just two small examples of the other maps I made. I'd love to show the others off, but they're... really big. Even these maps are reduced size versions of the actual files. I would need to re-render them to get them small enough to upload here.

It's one of my bigger issues with Campaign Cartographer 3 honestly. It makes nice looking maps but it's a real pain in the arse to use. Just getting the metal textures from Cosmographer to work with a Dungeon map was a hassle, as I had to manually apply each texture to the filler style. This is a ritual I have to do every time I want to create a sci-fi map like this.

I downloaded GIMP recently and I am going to be looking into the dungeon map designer plug-ins. I doubt they will have as many symbols or tokens I could use for sci-fi (The map-making scene seems to have quite a liking for the fantasy genre. Not much to work with in sci-fi). Then again, though, I am sure GIMP is way easier to use.
