    Help Photoshop and CC3

I own Photoshop and am thinking of buying CC3 is it practical to leverage both software suits to work together i.e. making backgrounds or symbol sets in Photoshop and importing it to CC3?

I also have both, and I frequently use the CC3 symbols in PS, so you can go either direction.

I know Clercon mixes CC3 stuff and photoshop - you can see it in his maps. You could always send him a PM on the specifics.

Ok thanks for all the replies and information. I'll buy me a copy of CC3 tonight and give it a try.

    Hey Aren. Hey you go.
Campaign Cartographer is available from Profantasy - https://secure.profantasy.com/default.asp
    It's only $45 as a download.
Photoshop is a lot more expensive. It looks like it is only available as a Creative Cloud version now. I am checking that though.

You can try what the article discusses here - http://www.digitaltrends.com/computi...shop-for-free/
It is an older version of photoshop but I use an older version for most of the work I do.

edit - Though I thought I should add that I paid loads of money for it years ago when it was new.

Photoshop is indeed currently only available by subscription now, but if that's all you need you can get it only $10/mo, but you have to go in through the Photographers' portal: https://creative.adobe.com/plans/pho...150318180709:s

That does require a commitment to their annual plan. Otherwise it's $20/mo if you want the option to cancel at any time.

The "Free" CS2 installer is intended only for people who already have a CS2 license (which you can no longer purchase). From a strictly legal perspective, if you don't have such a license, then using that installer is against the law. That said, Adobe never outright said what their intention was in making it available, and it's easily accessible to anyone, so my feeling is that they're giving an unofficial gift to potential users. They just can't say so without undermining their own IP.

So it's up to you where you draw your ethical line with regard to CS2.

Hello. Mr. Midgardsormr is right. Adobe products are not free. But there is one right solution, namely "Transfer of License". In the Czech Republic it is managed by Digital Media, see link: http://www.digitalmedia.cz (necessary to translate the web). On ebay You can purchase older versions of Adobe products at a significantly lower price and then just transfer the license using adobe customer service.
