Post Never would of thought of that

Love the night vision vs the average day map. Very cool. Has a very stealthy, fantasy like feel to it.

at thought the thumbnail was of a constellation. It still kind of looks like one, but i love the night idea. I think i will set mine at night.

this one is definitely different, but I feel it is lacking some detail to make it easily understandable. I am eager to see more though....
    Something witty and pithy

    >the white areas are the lights of the city.
    >>the black areas are lakes or canals.
    >>>the big blue light is the lighthouse.
    >>>>the labels are the names of neighborhoods.
    Back to work.

I didn't like the first map at all. This one is much better. With so much light though, the lakes and canals would be reflecting it, especially the light from the lighthouse.

A little reflection on the water would be nice, I agree. It seems to be at a distance from above where we could still see some of that. Some other things that might help you in your approach is placing in some bridges (with lights on them, of course). Seems there would be at least two to four going out from each main quadrant. Possibly some low level cloud cover or mist over one part of the map to remind us we're up in the atmosphere a bit.

Great idea. I like this map much better than the first one as well.

    Info

Thanks for the suggestions, but a month is too little to make a city truly realistic, I will try as much detail as you can before the vote.
    even more.

I worked for the maximum I could do this, I think now does not give more time for updates.I hope you like it.
    Thanks to all.
