    Default Númenor

I've posted this map in a WIP thread already, but I finally found the time to scan and upload it (no time for doing maps right now ), and to correct a few small mistakes and make some of the writing a bit clearer. I played around a bit with colorizing it in photoshop, but I like the black and white better. Also it seems that there are some other very nice Tolkien based maps currently here, so this seems like good timing! Scanning it with a high resolution really made all the small errors and construction lines come out, and the areas where I messed up a bit - so I scaled it down again The real size is only A3 anyway, so it's not really a big map.

    Beautiful work Astrogator.
That top left bit is a nice touch.

Wow! Lovely work. I agree with J., the border is really quite nice. Thanks for sharing.

Very well done! And I have to agree with others about the title.

I just recently referred to your wip thread as my personal favorite Númenor map (it has been before Sapiento started his new Númenor map, so we'll see... )! Great to see this even better version of it. Simply outstanding, have some rep!

Thanks! I'm glad you all like the cartouche, I was worried about how it would turn out, but I'm happy with it myself. I think about doing something more obscure from Tolkien for my next one, but there's hardly anything Wynn-Fonstad hasn't done already.
