Wow, this looks really cool. The demonstration vid looks awesome.
The only thing that bothers me is that they want another 24 Euros for download content. Especially as this is early access software. So you're kind of a beta tester/sounding-board for the developer, who has to pay 40 Euros and another 24 for DLC. I find that a bit much. You probably don't need the DLC, but still. If you want me to help you develop your software, then don't expect me to pay premium price for it.
I'm trapped in Darkness,
Still I reach out for the Stars
Actually costs even more if not discounted , anyway I got it ...
It's a quite interesting tool If you don't have time to be creative
Yes , but it covers a large amplitude of options that would require manual editing , basically is similar tomfractal terrain I guess , but FT is still more ahead of this in terms of options , this instead is more ahead in terms of giving a planet an atmosphere , clouds coverage etc .
Just did that with few clicks

I think it's a bit pricey for what it does and also because it's still in early access. Like many people, I've lost hope in EA.
Yeah is a bit pricey but I wanted to give thrust that the guy will implement new usefull features in future like some I am sugesting ...
I was a bit disapointed that fractal terrain seems not beeing futher developed to implement worldmachine like functions , the wilbur river stuff etc .
And he did implement nice new features among wich you can Upload your own heightmaps, this is the one I created here....
Thats kinda cool. Have you had a go on Outerra too ? I don't think that one lets you have custom height maps etc but the rendering of the globe is better. I believe it comes with an editor to put down roads and buildings and so on to customize the land but its basically earth data (or middle earth).
The wave reflections on this one seem somewhat large but its a nice image all the same.
