    Default 'Norge' - Map Commission

    Hello Guild.

This is a map I did for Alexander F Patterson and his book 'Choices'. Choices follows Richard Orlendr and the dragon Aiden as they attempt to remain neutral in the growing war; however, they are forced to take action when the gods reveal to Richard a secret: the end of the world is coming, and the only thing that can stop it is Aiden's death. The book will be out on Dec 8'th 2015. http://www.alexanderfpatterson.com/

Comments and any rep appreciated, Cheers.

Great work Sarithus! I really like the border, and the other drawn elements (compass, shields and the longboat) are just spectacular.

Those icons are awesome! I think the map could use a little more distinction between the land and water, but otherwise a great map.

Thanks very much GreatWhiteNorth and Chashio.

@GreatWhiteNorth I've had one other person make a comment on the differentiation of the water and land. Personally I think it's pretty easy to tell the difference but the sea and land maybe could have done with greater difference in shade.

Good work. It has good legibility on linework and I like the feel, especially the shields add. In regards to the difference between land and water, maybe a little more contrast would have been useful, but I would have to see it printed at the size it was made for to see. All in all good stuff!
