Greetings!
I'm lark774, a fellow cartography enthusiast who joined a while back, but havent really been active, save looking at some maps.
I love looking at maps for inspiration and good stories.
In terms of map creation, I generally hand-draw them, as I'm clueless when it comes to programs such as photoshop.
I'm no artist, but I love creating simple maps by hand for RPG campaigns.
I'll mostly spend my time here giving constructive responses to maps, mostly regional/world maps.

I hope to find a place among the many cartographers here!

Hello Lark, welcome to the Guild!

We all started out clueless about programs such as photoshop, I'm pretty sure no one here was born knowing how to use it You might consider getting GIMP, which is a free program similar to photoshop, and just try it out for a bit. You might find it's not as hard as you fear.

If you do, message me and I'll give you some good tutorials to start with for practice

hand drawn maps are always appreciated, but there are lots of tutorials to get you going with gimp or photoshop if you want to experiment, and if you're ready to get your feet wet, post in the WIP section for help and critique... its also there your own can be appreciated.
