hi im dennis I came across this site while looking for ways to make a map digitally for a D&D game that im going to be running... I like to free hand maps when im bored and have done several even though elevation on them still eludes me... lol but I was trying to find a cheap/free program I could use and have been messing around in photoshop but its seems to me that all the photoshop how tos seem to use older versions while I have the newer one so I came here to see if there are any for the newer versions...

Hello Dennis! Welcome to the Guild! I think you will find that the tutorials here will still work with newer PS, just maybe look a little different, so you might have to search a bit for the right button, but the principle will still apply.

Once you have completed those two tutorials, you'll be well on your way!!

why thank you ya ive checked that but im having issues with the lighting effects seeing as I have PS cc 2014
