Hey Troedel, awesome work, great to see it finished! The cables for the lamps are a nice detail I only think the background is a bit distracting. Especially since one cannot see the demon statue(?) properly, it seems not too functional in my view. Wanna play Dungeon Keeper now!

Yeah, I think it´s a nice background but the centerpiece is distracting, perhaps I should render out one without the statue...?

The background itself is very cool. I'm not sure though if leaving the statue away would solve the problem completely. In the end the brazier on the left takes a lot of attention away from the spectacular map in the mid. The lovely light effects on the digsite map are just "outshined" a bit. They would come through better, if the background would be more subtle/darker i guess. Maybe just a toned down version of the fantastic wall texture or something alike? I tend to "overload" the maps i made myself, so i'm not sure if i can be a good help here Just one more suggestion: If you want to do something with the pic of the Statue, you could maybe place a version of the dungeon on/in the floor in front of the statue...that might look pretty awesome

You are right, toning it down made the map pop out a bit. The fire lost some impressiveness but the map comes first. Updated first entry.

I really like the different views here... for some reason, it reminds me a little bit of Myst. Your lighting is really good.
The best maps are the ones we like the most after looking at the longest.

Nice work Troedel! It's gamer-friendly and the light & shadows are excellent.
