    Default Hey there!

Hi everybody, nice to be here.
First time in a forum since years, I just feel like a kid again
I'm a junior graphic & web designer, a bass player and a deep lover of D&D and all it has to offer. I'm a big fan of anything that's customizable too!
Me and my friends have been playing for years and recently we decided to build our own world, with detailed attention in every quest and eventually write centuries of historical events to it. I'm about to be the next master for some months, so I needed an island..

I joined this community after I found some amazing mapping on this site thanks to google, and so I decided to draw my very own island for a huge campaign I'm writing & mastering for evil characters [Pathfinder/D&D 3.5].

I'm just beginning with this, a 59 seconds pencil scratch of a 500 km^2 area.
I will be using Illustrator to trace paths and Photoshop to make it look "good"(maybe). Really hoping to print it 50x50 cm.. and I must find a cool name to it.

    The *insert name here* Archipelago

Hope to see you in the WIP section, and comment my work!

Ciao PaganoCristo, Welcome to the Guild!

That's a nice start for your world, good layout and nice balance.

There is a great tutorial in the sticky section of Tutorials, called Quickstart Guide to Fantasy Mapping: http://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?t=4276

From there, go to Hand Drawn Mapping for the Artistically Challenged: http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...ad.php?t=10655

Once you have completed those two tutorials, you'll be well on your way!!
