Instead of finishing up the maps I should be working on, I got the itch to start something new. Mostly, I wanted to practice drawing mountains. I'm not great at this, but I reckon if I don't practice I'll never get any better. I'm moderately happy with how they turned out, though I'm clearly a bit rubbish with perspective too!

I only laid down the rivers tonight and need to work a little more on them, but that's in hand. Mostly, I can't decide what style to go for with the forests. I want something with a hand-drawn feel, but not sure whether to go for the 'green blob' or to draw individual trees. Need to try a few things.

Anyway, this is where I'm at for now. Are my colours too bold?

You've got good mountains already, way better than a lot of mine (I'm just occasionally satisfied by my mountains, but not often).
Your color choices are fine to me! Off to a very good start.
