    Default Dungeon Map study

    Hello guys!

This is my study of a dungeon, i did it using Photoshop to design the layout, make and edit the textures and light effects. I used Sketch Up and Vray for furniture models and render.

    Any suggestion are welcome.

It's a decent map dros! The lighting works nicely and all the little elements you've added to it. Were you planning to label/title it at all? No worries if you weren't as it works well as a grid-based player guide for rpg-ing.

Personally, I'd like to see it a bit more grimy. With the walls being more battered and aged, with bits missing and falling off, but equally I understand why you might not want to do that.

    Still, a solid piece, dros!

I really like the lightning. Overall nice textures. The layout of the dungeon is boring but for a "test" like this it may not matter...

I think it does not need more grimyness... Good as it is now.

Yeah, like I said, it really depends on what look dros is going for. The neat walls are obviously better to actually grasp the layout and what not, but thought it could be something to consider.

Nice job with this. I really like how you've done the lighting and I adore that blood spatter near the bottom!

Nice to see you trying out new things and I guess that is the whole point of these studies, just to try and find a style that you like and want to work with and also get critiques of them. So keep up the experimentation!
