Project Cartographer Wanted

PROJECT

I'm producing a table-top Fantasy RPG Campaign Source Book + Player Guide + First Adventure, with twelve follow up adventures planned for released over the next three years. The plan is to produce and distribute the products as Digital eBooks, but printed products could be added if the products do much better than expected. This is the first published project I've done on my own, but I have worked for a major RPG publisher before (back in the 1980s).

I'm looking for a lead cartographer for the project line, so map styles will remain consistent throughout. Maps needed will include: World Map, Regional Maps, Settlement Maps, Interior Maps and Underground Maps. Being able to use mapping software to produce professional, print quality maps. consistently and quickly will be the key. We can discuss the project in greater detail after we connect.

STYLE

The style will be discussed and determined after a Lead Cartographer has been selected.

QUALITY & SIZE

All maps will be professional looking and print quality in 300 dpi digital format.

TIME CONSTRAINTS

I am designing the first product now so I need someone who can start quickly. But once we understand each others time availability (I have a day job), a formal project schedule will be developed.

COPYRIGHT

I will have the right to use the image for commercial purposes, the artist will have the right to exhibit the image as part of his portfolio but not to exploit it for commercial gain.

PAYMENT

This is a paid gig. I don't want anyone to feel taken advantage of. We can discuss the actual arrangements upon further contact, but keep in mind that the budget for the first project is not very big. I am considering a Kick Starter campaign, but we need to have something to present for it - Successful Kick Starters have to $$ WOW!!! $$ potentials investors. We can discuss when we talk as well.

Thanks for all the interest - I had 12 different people reply.
I have narrowed it down to a few and will not be taking any more applicants at this time.
