I recently joined this community a day or so ago, and I was never even aware such a one even existed. While I'm no professional or hobbyist, I do hold a strong love and interest in maps and mapping in general.

I graduated college in 2008 with a degree in geography; with an emphasis on cartography and GIS, though I never put it to use as I've worked at a bank since then. I made maps in classes through the use of ArcGIS, unfortunately I haven't made maps since then. I would really like to get back into that in some form.

Also I never even realized fantasy maps are a thing so I'm excited to see what this place has to offer.

From there, go to

and then read

Once you have completed those tutorials, you'll be well on your way!!
