Default Greetings from the Bluegrass State

    Hello friends,

My name is Jeremy and I just wanted to introduce myself. I stumbled upon this place some time ago and I have been working through tutorials, trying to build a small skill set to start with. I figured it would be best to sign up and be able to access this amazing community and resource.

I am a registered nurse from Kentucky. I am interested in mapping so that I can details the world I created for my D&D game and writing projects. I have a lot of ideas in mind and I feel like a map would be the best way to organize them. I also enjoy the medium as a means of artistic expression. Mainly, I enjoy the pursuit of learning new skills and making new things.

I hope I can meaningfully contribute to this community and share in this art with you. Thanks!

    Jeremy

I'm from Kentucky also and my daughter is studying nursing at UK and I love maps so lots in common.

Thanks for the welcome. It just so happens I am an RN at UK in the Trauma Center. I teach a lot of students on their clinical rotations.

I love maps as well. Mainly I love telling a story. A good map is a story unto itself. I just feel like the learning curve is massive for me right now.

Hi Orastus, welcome to the Guild. Looking forward to seeing some maps from you. Feel free to start a thread in the map-making folder if you'd like some advice/critique.
