Hi!
I'm a guy in my twenties, from Latvia. Big fan of gaming, reading, aircraft (which are my job, actually). Been drawing some kinds of maps all my life, but never realiesed, that it is kinda achievable to draw a great map!
Couple days ago stumbled across this amazing site! Started reading all the guides I could find, looking at great works by the community and said to myself: "Damn, man! You can do the same!", so I am drawing my first maps right now. =)Already having some issues, but hope this forum will help me find all the answers! =)

Welcome to the Guild! I find myself thinking the same thing: "I could do that!... If I practiced hours a day and spent months on each map " :-). But that is the best attitude, to jump right in. Will you make s work-in-progress thread for the map(s) you have started? That speeds your progress, to be showing what you want to do, and asking for specific recommendations.

I look forward to seeing what you make!
