Think m problems was that I went into a retrograde hyperbolic orbit around Vulcan instead of prograde...

Anyway, I'm here (Hi) and I'm quite the weird little thing...

I'm an astrophysics nerd (and proud of it, too) and I love music [rock, mostly 2000-2012 alt. at that], playing the drums and singing (even though I'm probably not that good at singing..), and doing art both on paper and digitally. "Why did I join this forum?" you may ask...well, in the process of doing my digital art (mostly space stuff) I end up doing a lot of things where I'm working with maps, since a lot of my art depends upon having a planet look how I want --pretty much usually as realistic as possible, maybe with a little artistic license but not very much-- and so I need the maps I use to wrap around a sphere to also look how I want, plus cartography has been something I've always had a liking for, even as a very young kid (like, around 8 or so) so when I found this forum I decided that I should join. Also, I see, the community is a lot nicer than on other forums I've seen.
I actually found this place in search of a tool to turn different map projections into the equirectangular projection so that I can use them. I have since found one, but if you want you could share another one--who knows, maybe it'll be better than the one I found!

Anyway...I guess that's me. Hi everyone.

I most likely will show some of my latest maps and maybe, eventually, if its "appropriate" make a sort of 'dump' thread where I can post a lot (since I have a ton...) and get comments/critiques on them..

Um...I'm not really sure honestly, as I had to copy-paste the name of the program just to use it and since I used it for what I needed it for I've ended up copying other things, so I guess it's gone now...I could look through my program files and documents folder (where I stash all my programs that aren't installed in the program files folder) or even through my pictures folder where I rarely but sometimes do put things but all of this is a lot of work considering all the stuff I have especially in documents so I probably won't be looking for it right now...

Sorry it took me a few days to respond, I ended up busy and half the time with no wifi or just doing something else...
