The contintents of Weslubon, Kaidria and Cidrica

Hello fellow mapmakers,
for the first time i feel comfortable enough with a map of mine to share it here.

I'm fairly new to the process of mapmaking and this was basically a practice map that i started to use for a D&D campaign i am running for 4 friends. So the purpose of this map is to give the players a sense for the geography of their world, while being centered around a specific political area called "Bund der freien Handelsstädte" which translates to "Alliance of Free Trading Cities"

The city pictures at the top and bottom are no creations of my own, i found them online, mostly on DeviantArt.
Likewise i cannot take credit for the compass rose ( http://fantasy-worlds.weebly.com/ - thanks a lot!) and the lowest background texture.
Everything else i painted with a wacom tablet and my mouse in Photoshop.

I know that i have a long way to go stylisticaly to be on the level of the works here at the cartographers guild. I would ask for your honest criticism as well as comments about parts you like.

Oh then i have to thank you for your compass rose. My mapmaking process is still very messy, i've collected so much stuff that i like and for most of it i have a hard time figuring out, where i got it from.

Nice map ! You integrated the different atmosphere really well and I'm also glad to see the wonderful compass rose put to use. Congrats on this first map that definitely deserves rep !
