Default Urobos - Fantasy map commission

    Hello,

One of my last commissions the Urobos lands for Cole Dresher. The map above was a one quarter of the working size and half of the delivered map size. Comments welcome.

Wow, this is a really beautiful piece Antonio! I love the colors and the use of textures is spot on (I particularly like the forests). The rivers are also very well done too. All around a fantastic piece. Kudos.

    Cheers,

A real beauty here. I love the general shape of the landmass, and the colors used work really well. Clear, simple and informative - I do hope the client was pleased, they have every reason to be! Might I ask, what software are you using? Seeing this makes me really want to try my hand at making these photorealistic type of maps again (at which I've previously failed miserably).

Very nice and harmonious. I really like the broken land shape. Well done!

    Thank you to all.

Was created using a mix of Wilbur, Photoshop and Illustrator. The client provided a crude sketch of the coastlines but was not very pleased with the general shape. I took the idea and create a more realistic and eye-catching shape (the fractured land was in the begining a river with no start and two ends).

Wonderful map, I especially like how you rendered the different densities of the forests and I second the others, the fractured land is a huge win !

    Wow !
That map jumps on you !
Colours are very flashy, but in a good way : it makes the map very alive, very sunny...
It makes us want to go there !
