Very nice. What fonts did you use, as a matter of interest?
Nice work Josiah and congrats on the commission too.
Lovely linework, especially with the moutains - your mountain style has always been one of my favourites.
I hope the author's very happy with it, because he should be.
The only slight nitpicks are have (they are only slight) are that the river lines seem very bold. I'm never a huge fan when they're more bold or prominent than coastlines as at first glance it can sometimes be slightly confusing as to what they are (or maybe that's just me. ). The second is just with the compass. All the other text is very neat indeed and just that 'W' being slightly wonky and off line with it irks me a tiny bit. Those really are nitpicks though, so feel free to ignore them.
Great and professional looking piece overall!
Congratulations Josiah! A beautiful map. I really love the terrain in the east (though the terrain is looking very good in general) and those forests are splendid! Great job, have some rep!

EDIT: I have to spread some rep before I can rep you again, so I will try to remember.
Very attractive piece Josiah!

This looks awesome, would love to see this in color. My only comments, maybe a point more in leading of the type. "Makkut Eastern Settlement" and Tower of Silence seem a little tight on the line spacing. No crazy about the compass rose, other than that really line this, I agree with GLS on the thickess/coloring of the rivers, could be a 80% gray or something? Nice job and congrats on the commission, I'm sure there very happy.
Great black and white map ! Like others, I would like see some colors
I'll give the contrary opinion that's it's nice to see a NOT fully colourised map. If you pick up a fantasy novel there is almost never a colour map. Maps in books generally have to be purely monochrome. This is a good example of it imo.
