Hi guys long time lurker here.
I just finished my first map and wanted to share it with you all. However this is more about how amazing this community is. There are so many free tutorials and amazing content to access. Added to that all the ideas and motivation.
I hope that this motivates someone else as so many posts have motivated me to make this.

That is a pretty nice looking map, well done! Unfortunately the hex grid is so dominant it is a little difficult to actually see the map underneath. Maybe it could be toned out a bit, so we could better appreciate the map?

Thank you so much! Good criticism. I was also sceptical about the grid myself so I lowered the opacity and it's much better now. Here is one without the grid completely for those that might like it more since the grid is more of an actual during-game-play thing and not really needed for the map itself.Originally Posted by Kelleri

I'm thinking I should add a legend and maybe put a ruler in that instead of the grid.
