    Wip Realms of Duriell

    Gandaria.jpg

    Hey folks,

Been a while since I posted anything. 3 years as a matter of fact.
Had a lot happen in my life, so had to put focus on other things.

But I've been working on and off on my little world building project and this is the state that it's in atm. I've taken a lot of inspiration and technique from Jonathan Roberts(Fantastic Maps) and even got to meet him, which was great.

So I'm thinking I need to redo the mountains in this area. I'm not that happy with them and I want to merge the forests with the mountains at certain parts. Just makes more sense to just do it right from the start.
The lakes are too bright, I'll also need to fix that. Other than that I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along.

    Any thoughts about this?

    Best,
    Thordred

Wow, very cool map. I love the mountains and islands, they really give the map some character. Keep up the good work.

These are some very interesting mountains you have there Thordred! The colouring of the sea and the land are really lovely. One nitpick: The coastline looks a bit pixelated in comparison to the smooth linework of the rest. Looking forward to see what you'll do with the forests. Keep up the great work!
