Map Ancient Island Port of Toborr

Toborr is an ancient city in my world of Helevos, a city of stone towers dating back at least 4000 years. It is the main trading port of the theocratic nation of Orror, and one of the most important trade cities in the world. In ancient times it was a powerful independent city state, conquered 1200 years ago by the "holy army" of the Great Prophet Therion, who founded the nation of Orror.

Based on a hand-drawn map I reworked in Photoshop.

Extraordinarily good. And a map, not a picture. Wow! Sorry they won't let me give you more rep yet.

I do not like it ! It's a masterpiece blending very good artistic elements and cartography worthy of an atlas. This looks to me like an article of an encyclopedia of old. Wonderful !

OK. I have to admit it. You've got me totally confused. You praise this map (deservedly) as a masterpiece and say it's wonderful, but you also say, I do not like it ! There's probably a message there, but I'm afraid i don't get it.

I do not like it, I love it ... had to take care of the toddler and forgot the end of the sentence

Love it! Any chance we can see the hand drawn version? Love maps done by hand.

Very fine map, Robulous . I like the color palette and general style. The layout and the mini-map are also very well done.
One thing, though: I would have gone for a full traditional style and got rid of the bevels you have on the walls.

Absolutely right Ilanthar - my first attempt had bevels on the walls and buildings but I took this off so that was a mistake, I've fixed it now thanks for spotting it.

Ok I drew this map when I was about 16 I think (a long, long time ago), I should've put it in the WIP thread but here goes. The original has blue shading around the coastline so this is just a B&W scan I used for the digital conversion.
