    Default Italy 1796

This map was made for The Etruscan Mysteries, a book by author Darren Foulk.

    Ditto.

Not much to say about map, its simple, but good looking. The illustration on the other hand are beautiful.

Nice work. It'll look great in a book and the illustrations add some nice decorative interest. I love that sea monster!

    EDIT: can't rep you.

Thank you! Simple is what the client was going for, so there's not so much to the map itself. I'm glad you like the illustrations (:

Simple and clear - I wish more people made maps like these. Less fancy and more focus on the map often has the best result.

    Great work.

Simple and efficient. I really love your waves pattern. A question. Is it Charybdis or Scylla just south of Corsica ?

As the others have said, it’s clear, simple and easily understood, which is perfect for a book illustration.

My one concern would be that you’ve shown the territory of Venice at the time, but you haven’t marked the location of the city itself. Venice was long past its prime in 1796, but it would still be nice to see it included.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I just wanted to let you know that the novel is published. The link is in the first post!
