Hello everyone,

I came here because I wanted to learn how to draw maps for Hoard of the Dragon Queen adventure I'm going to run as soon as all the maps are prepped. I was able to get the first encounter off the internet, but I quickly realized that this wasn't a sustainable strategy because there would be random encounters that would be outside my predictions and I would still need to know how to make maps on the fly.

I am very familiar with GIMP, and I want to make beautiful maps.

There are lots of tutorials for GIMP in the Tutorials/How-To forum, which range from beginner to advanced, and cover practically any kind of mapping aspect you care to think of. All you have to do is use the search facility to get the one you want

You will have a huge advantage over quite a lot of people if you know how to use GIMP really well already.
