    Default Besieged Town

Long time watcher first time poster. I have decided to post a besieged castle town that I've been working on for the past couple of days. I'm using it for a medieval board game I am designing. For what its worth I thought I'd finally give back to the community. I hope the poor people of this town find a savior.

    Cheers

Hi, just to let you know I've removed your second thread since it was a duplicate. Both your comments were waiting in the moderation queue (first five comments have to be manually approved). Sometimes it takes a little time if none of the CLs are online.

With that out the way, nice map!

Truly besieged, then - by the Guild as well as the enemy! LOL!

    Hello AC

That is a nice map. The streets are a little wide for the size of the buildings, but maybe that's to do with the game you're designing

Well you are absolutely right. Those streets are HUGE. Funny how when someone says something it becomes so very obvious. Rather than re-scale all the buildings I thought I'd embrace the cluttered look of the medieval period by filling up those streets with shops, stands and carts. I also added a keep to the town center. I have a new version of the first image with filled in streets but I figured people might find the keep more interesting.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    It's excellent!

I love the endless market feel of the inner ring road

Yeah the first one looked a little too tidy, the second one is a lot more atmospheric
