First time making maps in a while, decided to make something quick for my DnD group and I got a bit out of hand

I'm not too happy with how the coat of arms came out, they took a ton of effort and I feel they may detract from the image, but by the time I was finishing with them I was so exhausted with the map I felt a bit done so I left as is. Text is also hard to see but same issue there. And then there's the problem that I'm not too great at this! At least not as great as some people here.

Still, I like how it turned out, especially as I tried some new things with the coasts that I think came out well, though I will have to try and find a new way to draw them as I feel like Gimp's ink tool isn't doing me very well.

I like it! It feels very 'in-world'. Cool color scheme, and I quite like how the COA turned out.

Very nice map! The sepia tones give a very nice impression! Congratulations for the effect of the waves near the coast, it is very successful. I also like the mix between the relief, which has a very photographic rendering, and the details drawn by hand. I'm less a fan of gridlines, but that's just my opinion!

Thanks for the kind words! You're right about the grids, they're a bit iffy, I think if I include them next time they'll have a higher transparency.
