Wip The Costal City of Corsica - Semi-realistic aerial image (Early WIP)

    Hello!

I'm new to the forums and thought I'd post my WIP city map here! I havent actually drawn any of the city yet... but I've done some of the terrain! I'm new to drawing and mapping, but I'm hoping to improve my technical skills! If you have any feedback or constructive criticism, I'd really appreciate it!

So far I've completed the ocean water in the bottom part of the map, I need to texture the rest of the water in the rivers. The white parts are bridges between the different sections of the city. Now I'm working on the cliffs around the rivers

    Hey man!

Good job on the sea! It is coming together beautifully. I mean it.

I wish I could give you solid advice on almost top down cliffs. But that is a bit harder nut to crack(for now at least). I'm more into ISO cliffs. Though, I can say, give straight down lines a go. The more you curve the lines on cliffs, the smaller OR less shear they look. Hope that helps. (But take it as brainstorming!)

Also, if you'd like you can use the bottom two images for your sandy beaches. It is a pic I took of clouds and that I colorized until I got the sand look.

    This one is NON-Seamless.

This is the same one with a seamless filter on it.

Though this is just something to help and what you can choose to use.
