In the 8th level of Pit of Sago

Someone has scrawled on the North wall

"In the year of Madness when the sun is eclipsed in the Chalice and the Forests are made Spears the line of Faith shall end"

Will add Square holes in the east wall as of the second point,
which is not necessary and style points at best I know I know.
Still fun to implement something more.

Oh, don't forget the WIP tag before your work-in-progress pictures. Otherwise your map won't show up in the thumbnail scraper; a bad thing come voting time!

Update. 22hours ish of work.

Looks like a video game map. Where can I buy this Pit of Sago game I ask myself, looks decent.

There is a vague story with the footsteps, from north going to south, ending at the arched door.

Faith has fallen, overturn the faith, madness rules this era, write with your blood & burn everything

Wish for feedback on the legend, especially on the text that explains where the inscription is and if there are obvious better solutions to it. For example making a pointy arrow to the part of the map from the text box

That's gorgeous! The colors are amazing, and that floor texture is great.

I think it makes sense how you have the inscription, but maybe adding an arrow would be good too. Try it and see!

Thanks for the feedback and compliments. I am happy myself with it and at least it feels like I come far on my journey in mapmaking.

Now I am just doing minor adjustments back and forth. upped the contrast and brightness and made a stronger silhouette shadow by the entrance as well as darker footsteps at the door.
Wish for feedback from all if its better or not.

Its certainly going to be a hard one to beat

I can't see anything that's obviously out of place, but you know... now is the REALLY difficult part. Trying not to fiddle around with it too much while you wait for the rest of us to catch up
