Hey folks,

I've been lurking these boards for a while now, but I finally decided to register For my first post here I'd like to share with you a recent commission I did. All hand drawn and inked, before scanning it in and adding digital placenames (as my hand writing is just... yeah). I'd love to hear what you think! The map was made for a work in progress novel by a new writer, I'll be sure to post more info in this topic when there is FaterraLowRes.jpg

Really nice job on this, really like the layout and landforms. Gets a little busy in some places, maybe in some of the inland water areas there isn't as much shoreline line work. Great job and look forward to seeing more, you've got talent

I love it, the many islands make it very detailed looking as well as the time and effort I can only imagine you have invested in this project. One thing where there is no land it is just blank white and that makes it look "unfinished" besides that amazing.

Hadn't thought of adding names with a image manipulation program -- Thats incredible, makes it feel more professional while keeping your hand-drawn charm. Mind if I steal the idea?

Thanks @Creativetides! And I have been considering what to do with oceans, yes. I was thinking maybe a compass with lines stretching out from it, but Im not quite sure yet.

@Vanoitran - Sure man, it's mostly because my hand writing is terrible haha. But I do like the look of it.
