    Default Kirgons Grace

    Hi!

This is my first map called "Kilgors Grace"
It is a large island off the Northeastern coast of the western continent (out of 3 continents)

The map is meant for use in a D&D: Pathfinder setting and is my first of many (hopefully) in my new world that I am slowly making.

I've made this using freehand drawing with only 2H and 2B pencils on a Size A3 paper sketch book

    Biomes
South for Thunder Mountain and north of Kalsun Mts, the biome is a cold, coastal area. With Evergreen trees, cold summers and snowy winters.
However not as much weather, due to the effects of Thunder mountain soaking up the weather energy.

However, in between the mountain range in the center of the map, the climate is warm, and no snow, even during winter.
This is due to the swamps massive amount of gas that is trapped by the mountains and hot air coming from the continent that is to the west.
This causes a local greenhouse effect.

    Location and inhabitants
The southern part is inhabited by humans with the Harbour town of Tarnwood and smaller villages Mitra (Forester) Canter (Sawmill) and Bungal (mining).
Along with the small island (halfa island) which is inhabited by Halflings.

Thunder mountain has everlasting thunderclouds upon it's peaks and a constant rain, though most of the water is pouring out into the swamp to the north, instead of the southside.

Troll swamp is a massive swamp area that has been made due to the massive amounts of water that comes down from the mountains.

Knife's Edge Mts is supposed to be a jagged like mountain with a population of brutal orcs.

Kalsun Mts. there is a dwarven Hold, with their leader Kirgon, they inhabit most of the mountain.

The Forest Kingdom is a massive forest where all who enter, never returns. With a giant tree at its center, which old scrolls and maps show a different location of the tree, indicating that it moves.
I'm thinking Ents and Treefolk population.

Firstly, welcome to the Guild! This is a very nice map. (I always enjoy hand-drawn maps.) I absolutely love that big tree in the Forest Kingdom and your mountains look great too. Great work! Have some rep for sharing your first map with us.

Nice, reminds me of the hand drawn maps I used to make, though better drawn!
