    Map Shadolle, City of Opportunity

Shadolle the City of Opportunity was created in 2nd edition D&D for my players who wanted to play in a city environment. The Lord of the city is an ancient Female Vampire ( Called a Dusk Lord) in my D&D setting. Her name is Lady Laura Everwhite, ( and also a Wizard lvl 20, with the ability to walk in daylight do to a wish spell, she has ruled fairly for nearly 300 years). It is constantly being attacked by the Orcs of the Pigmy Tribe who reside in the Wandering Wood and constantly sack caravans. It is built on a raised area of land between 2 rivers ( The Mystic Waters, and the River Urnn, which 2x a year flood the plain to the north and briefly combine for a few weeks a year, both rivers are very deep and fast in this area and hardly any trade comes through them, thus the lack of docks). The Ravaged Swamps are actually several swamps/bogs, divided by small almost stagnant streams that are full of tribes of Lizardfolk, they rarely attack the city and in fact a few tribes sometimes come to trade, and have even been hired in times of war to bolster the defenders. It always has new construction going on as many people flock here for trade, safety, and because the Lady Lord constantly commissions new construction projects ( there is always work in Shadolle). She isn't the only power center though she is the only real Lord, a large Temple of Wee-Jas, and a Guild of thieves called the Spiders are also part of the City's Hierarchy though only so far as the general populace either worships the deity (about 54%) or works for the guild (7%). The real draw is to adventurers, as construction on the unfinished keep to the north (by the flood plain) has broken into a massive dungeon infested with Vampiric Kobolds, some with sorcerer like powers. So there is a LOT to do here if players are willing to take the initiative

I will try to find the dungeon maps and post them as well. Also if any DM needs the stats for the Vampiric Kobolds I have them ( both 2nd edition and 3.5, just e-mail me if your interested I'll try to get them sent to you....they have different sects within there society so there is a few different types of them, and as my players can tell you there no easy opponent). I hope I did this right...

I commented on this already, but it really is very well done. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
