Map The lost temple of Tocatlecuhtli

This is my entry for the July 2017 Map Challenge:

So here is the lost temple of Tocatlecuhtli, the spider-god, at dusk.
For many adventurers it is one of the last things they saw. For the lucky ones that didn't died in the unwholesome Haura jungle.
It is said that a mythical creature protect the temple since it was abandoned by the priests of the spider-god.
An old pirate heard rumors of some sort of jaguar with a very long tail...
In any case, beware of the spiders and don't forget to decipher the leaning stone if you want to enter the temple!

Very nice illustration! But a bit too many spiders for my taste..

That is a beautiful illustration. I love the overgrown henge in the background and the spider on the trunk is also very well executed. I think overall it reminds me of an anime background, but I think it works well with an RPG in mind, too. I get a good sense of place and already know the jungle will be full of deadly spiders. The small area map is also a nice idea and adds to the adventuring/ Indiana Jones atmosphere.

So very cool! And yeah, very Indiana Jones, indeed (so we know those spiders will end in a plate, inside the temple !)

A very beautiful work of illustration ... very close to cartoon drawings that I like very much! Full of fun details, which add a lot to the scene ... and the small map is a great plus! Bravo !!!
(I'll rep it as soon as I can !)
