Wip [WIP] some mountains with rivers

I've been working on this range forever, trying to achieve perfection. I don't think I'm quite there yet, so I'm looking for some feedback on these.

Not yet perfect... maybe, but mighty fine already. If I had one impression it was that the central spine of your ranges is superb, but where they trail off into foothills, the small ones start to look like a field of dots. I would think those would be somewhat organized into ridges and clusters too. Maybe the same shapes, but less evenly scattered?

The rivers winding up into valleys is a great effect, but staring at them closely there's places where I'm not believing it. The river linework is thicker than that of the terrain, which wouldn't be bad if it varied-- horizontal a bit thinner vertical a bit thicker? Too, the curviness of the water's path seems cruder than the finely crinkled mountain shapes - maybe you need to meticulously 'settle' some of the rivers better into valley bottoms. Those rivers that pass behind hills do make the terrain pop out nicely, but little clues here and there still say some of the water's not lying flat like it should.

If the cliff coastlines deserve a top and bottom line, I bet the rest of the coast could do with a line too. It wouldn't have to be black x 2px; thin &subtle might suffice. As it is some of the light terrain is uncomfortably close to the tone of the water.

All of that's YMMV, FWIW - I love it as is and wish I could do half as nicely!

Those mountains are fantastic. I guess you could improve them, but I'm not sure how!

Like JB, I have issues with the rivers too. He summed up my thoughts nicely, so I won't reiterate.
