Thaymura

Here is another city map for my homebrew RPG campaign. Thaymura was once a massive, sprawling city. This section, sheltered in the canyon, is all that's left. Cataclysm and storms have turned the city outside of the ravine into ruins, stalked by monsters and patrolled by Thaymuran rangers. This canyon isn't terribly far upriver, providing a decent harbor.

Made using my 3d render in a game and hit with a bunch of GIMP filters approach. As always, constructive criticism is appreciated!

Thanks! I use Planet Coaster. It has pretty great terrain and building tools.

Nice though it does look very computer generated with a filter which is a bit confusing stylistically. So you used a game engine to create this? Intriguing.

That's exactly what it is (well, some editing and a series of filters, but basically yes ). I think I can see what you're talking about. It's not particularly smooth. I'll see if I can work on that a bit the next time. Thanks for the feedback!
