Post Erisdün - Keystone Book Trilogy (commission)

It's been a while, but I got back into some commissioned maps this summer. This one is for Jesper Schmidt, a fantasy author. He wanted me to adapt an existing world map he had made into my own style. Hand drawn with pencil, then ink, then scanned and gussied up in PhotoShop.

The trees caused a bit of a visual imbalance in some ways. They had to remain limited only certain regions, per the novels. Anyway, I welcome your feedback, fellow cartographers.

Really nice ! I love the color scheme and the discreet texture to the land.

Thanks! The land texture was a new thing for me. Just felt way too blank without it, so I spent some time filling in space!

Very nice indeed! I like all the keeps/cities icons very much! The only thing I'm not fond of is the font of the main title, I think that an handdrawn one would have looked better

Not many criticisms from me: it is typically the kind of map that makes me want to read the book! I really like your choice of texture, lines, handwritten labels, compass, coastline ... No, really, I like all of this in this map! Beautiful work!
