Default Yet to be named map

I am creating this thread to keep myself motivated to progress with this map.

I started thinking about it about a month ago, but didn't find time/energy/will to continue. I want to make a B&W map this time... and that is the only thing i am sure. I am still thinking about the style, top down or isometric etc.

As for the lines, coastlines are done and probably won't change them, the rest is in the pre-alpha sketch tests

Hope to move forward with this soon, thanks for looking.

Well, its a beautiful shape, Voolf

How is it that even when you are just jotting stuff down your lines are so tidy and precise? I'm very jealous. Most of my rough sketches look like a half eaten plate of spaghetti!

Looks great so far, I like the squiggly lines around the coast and you're line work is always top notch so I'm sure you'll be able to pull off a black and white map splendidly... I'll definitely be watching out for updates.

If you are reffering to coastlines mouse, they are not jotted down. I took my time to make them clear and nice . If on the other hand you are talking about those MAGNIFICENT purple mountains lines , well i am happy to teach you. All we need is some alcohol, after a while, even if you wanted to draw straight line, you will get those instead .

LOL! Now you are teasing me!

I do, however, have a really nice bottle of red in the fridge that I've been saving for over a week...

I am also hoping to see more maps from Kacey

Small update for now. I have decided to go with my usual style and see how it goes for b&w. Making mountains now which is the most tiresome part. I also did one forest to see how it presents itself, maybe needs some tweeking later.
